So it starts up fine and have it running 20 min or so and then you turn it off and try to start it and it will not turn over. It sounds like the battery is dead. The battery is brand new. I think it is the starter getting to hot. If i let set a few hours it will start back up. Maybe I need to get a mini starter or heat shield. What else could it be? Any info would be great.

I am posting this for a friend of mine. He recently cleared out some old storage buildings that had some 50's and 60's cars. He knew I was into early rods so he called me to see if I was interested. He has at least 3 early Hemis ( pulleys manifolds, air cleaner, trans, pretty complete), a 445 buick in a 1965( complete , pulleys manifolds etc) , ford 429 and 460, Cadillac 472 and 500. Before he sells them for scrap, I told him I would post an add here in case any HAmbers were looking for some traditional old rod motors etc. I am sure these would all have to be gone thru. These looked pretty complete to me. IF interested call Dave 386-437-3025, this is his work number. He told me nothing over $750, so if there is something your interested in call him and work your deal. His wife has an email nativegator@hotmail.com . She said she may be able to take some pics if you need them. Thanx, Hope this will help
