I went to this show in Branson, MO with Stude-sled. It was at Dick Clark's Theatre and is called '57 Heaven Museum. We only got to go for one day, but it was a real neat show. There was about 30-40 cars there and I will try to post some pictures of the show. The people that stayed at the motel for the show, said you get a breakfast and with your show packet you get one free ticket to get into the car museum, and it is worth your time coming to see it. We live about 40 miles away, and we will go back to see it again. All of the cars that were at the show, were very very nice cars. So, here you can see some pictures hopefully if I can get them on .....
More pictures from Dick Clark's 57 Heaven Show. I hope I didn't miss anyone. On Friday nights they have a drive-in movie on the motel property.
MONDAY SUCK!!! Love the flames on the stude.....Very Kool! Thanks for posting the pictures, I needed to see some kool stuff today..... I had planned on going but because of a High School homecoming I could only make it a one day trip. Sad to say I wuss'd out because of the rain.... Happy Trails, Mick
Thanks for posting photos! We had a great weekend.....even though it was not ideal weather. We had around 47 cars on hand for the show this year and a few that didnt show that were pre-registered beacuse of the storms. Lynn Peterson & I and the entire team that put on Sleds in September want to say THANKS To all that came out to support the show. We had to cut it short on Saturday to get everyone out of the path of the storm and we thank everyone for understainding. We lost 3 trees and all of the fencing we put up for the event was down by mid day Sunday so i am glad we ended early to give folks the chance to get their cars home and in a safe garage. I already have a tall order of sunshine in for next years event!!!! The dates are September 17-20, 2009. www.sledsinseptember.com is the web site and we will have it updated with info for next years event soon. Thanks Larry

In late july I was driving by the Dick Clark show and saw a ton of 55 and 56 fords out there. Is that just a club show?
You are yankin' My chain!!!!! I was at Dick Clark's this last Saturday and all I saw was 40 Mustangs. What day was this? I would have much rather seen these cars!
The show was on Sept. 12-14. This show will become a must attend for custom fans. Next year it is on Sept. 17-20.
Is that this one? I'm not familiar with that one. Looks like I need to consult the Rikster archives to read up on it. flamed58, thanks for posting.
Yes its a car that Kurt owns that was supposedly built by Harry Westergard for the owner of an Indian motorcylcle dealership .I have never seen evidence of its existance before Kurts ownership .It must have been absolutely stunning back in its day.The reason I say that is because when I see a kustom like this,in my mind ,I visualize it idlin at a stoplight next to a stock 46 Chrysler 4 door in 1950.
Damn, not a R#* R$* in the bunch! Is this another pseudo-Titus show, like the Cruising Branson Lights was? Brian
Kustom 52.....in a word...NO!! This is a REAL Custom Car & Rod Show - for pre-1964 vehicles unless otherwise invited by the event organizers! Hope to see you next year. another shot of the Westy.... More photos from the show can be seen here....... http://public.fotki.com/FINKSGARAGE/1/sleds-in-september/ Thanks Larry
Hey Brian, Help out a stupid Okie with your Alabama short hand. What does that mean? Happy Trails, Mick
You know, the word that get most posts locked eventually, the ones newbies come on here asking for pics of, usually adorned with barbed wire, skulls, and lack of taste.... Brian
Here are a few more pictures of the lead sleds at Sleds in September at the Dick Clark 57 Heaven Museum in Branson, MO. Thanks for all of your great comments.
I've always been into '59 Chevys and the droopy cats on the maroon Impala hard top is the totally classic tail end treatment on these cars. Thanks for all the great photos.
Glad you enjoyed the pictures. flamed58 ______________________ flamed58.com studebaker parts and more
