Been into old cars since I bought my first Hot Rod mag in 1980.
Totally fascinated with a red 68 Camaro. No one in my family was into cars, but developed many friends that were. First car was a 1970 cutlass W31. Bought it in boxes and rebuilt it at 18. Now that there are only about 70 left on the road, I wish I had kept it. Married for 23 years 3 kids almost out of the house, and self employed. I have had to pursue my passion through magazines and shows, while my projects proceed slowly. I bought my truck in 99 for 400.00, then ended up off work due to illness for almost 2 years out of the next 8. No job, so no medical leave. After catching up, moving, and starting a new business, been slowly able to begin working on the truck. Stopped for a while to build an 83 Z28 with my son.Some of the best time I have spent with him. As far as my truck, major fab is done, hope to finish the body this year and paint and complete over next winter, driving in the summer of 14. Also working on 63 merc pu, 1957 Airstream trailer, a friends 59 chev 1ton, and 40 Dodge street rod.
