Use the tool. You can change the engine an trans by pushing the hood as far open as possible. Then tie it back with a rope to the rear...

You can buy a switch t mount in the dash that has park light and high low beam in it. Very compact

Well I bought four of the old Carters at Summit. All of them failed to work out of the boxes. Ended up with the cheap old Carter.
