We've seen more of the U.S.A. in our hot rods then I could ever hope for and traveled with some of the best friends one could hope for as well. In high school back in the early 60's, I had '57 Chevy, 4-door sedan, red &white, not "KOOL", but what I could afford-went through various "upgrades" ,tube grill, spyders, vent bullets courtesy J.C.Whitney and a few other add-ons that a teenage newspaper delivery boy and part -time grocery store flunky could afford. Later I was able to obtain a '63 chevy impala 2-door hardtop---409---no less, then marrige and kids and a different direction was taken. Many years later, Wev'e gotten into what I've always wanted when I was back in school and building model cars and buying hot rod ,rod & custom magazines and day dreaming about the cars We've got now.
