nothing HAMB friendly, only a Late model Corvette
    none
I fell in love with hot rods in 1961 when I was 15 and watched my brother get picked up for school by a friend who drove a '34 5-W coupe. I bought my first '32 Ford in 1972. It was a full fender purple 5-W with a Studebaker V-8 adapted to a 39 trans with a 40 rear. I sold that car to buy a house. I had no hot rods until my two sons got through college and am now spend everyday doing something with old cars. I love going to auctions and finding old cars and parts. I should have been a junk dealer instead of a teacher!!
I have been buying early hot rod parts and cars for a long time and still do when I can find it. I have started to sell off a good portion of my parts stash, but still have lots of stuff left. Plus I try to buy more stuff every week. So far its working and better than any "regular" job I ever had.

March 2014: Well its been 7 years since I wrote my profile and all of the above is still true but some things have changed. I no longer have a 32 Ford and I have sold dang near all of my old car parts-stash. And it is getting really hard to find anything in the way of old cars or old car parts that can be bought at a reasonable price. JUNE 2017: But I keep attending auction and find some good things once in a while. December 2019: Hot rod economy has slowed down a bunch! lots of cars for sale but not many buyers. I have sold all of my cars as I saw this coming a couple years ago. I still attend auction with cars and parts but am very careful what I buy!
