bought my first copy of hot rod in 1969 aged ten, had mainly british fords with ford v8s until i bought a 55 chevy 210 2 door post in 2007, fitted a big block and was building a sixties street racer style car but have now moved on to the a coupe, the car i have always wanted, stock at the moment, building fendered, 327 and th350 , 40 banjo with hotrod works 9 inch shafts and so cal dropped beam, early keystone 6 x 15 sharp spokes with 620 x 15 and 820 x 15 bias/ crossply tyres, again want a sixties look. last year i added a 37 chevy coupe to the collection via south africa, have beefed up the front springs to lift it a bit, fitted 50 chevy drum brakes to the front and a complete 57 rear end and added a hot 57 283 engine with twin carter 4 barrels, fenderwell headers and a saginaw 4 speed, 4 1/2 and 7 x 15 vintage slot mags and 520 x 15 and 750 x 15 crossply / bias tyres keep it rolling and box section ladder bars help complete the look.
