- 30 Ford hot 4 banger coupe. 90 Ford F100.
- No established clubs in my area.
I grew up in Riverside, Ca. and got into drag racing in the early 50's. I cut my teeth at the Colton Drag Strip. A friend and I ran a 29 roadster with a Crager OHV converted Model B 4 banger. I have many fond memories of that strip and Fontana.
I now have a 30 Ford Coupe with a hot 4 banger. Trying to keep it as 40's/50's old school as possible. Only real modern updates are 12 volt system, directional signals and a tape type stereo/ AM/FM radio, soon to be replaced with a CD player. (All 50's/60's CD's).
I'm also a rockhound and lapidary. Been involved in the hobby since the early 50's. If any other members are interested in rocks, minerals or fossils, lets talk.Interact
