I have worked on cars my whole life, my father and uncle were both mechanics and taught me how to do mechanical work. I built my first ride in high school, a 40 Ford pickup with 283 chevy V8, 39 toploader trans., a chevy 10 bolt rear end.
Since that first car I've built numerous others. A couple of noteable would be a 27 T roadster with a complete Pinto running gear, a 46 Plymouth special deluxe coupe with a 2.5 inch chop, chevy 327 engine, turbo 350 trans, 10 bolt rear,
cadillac power front seat, custom gauge panel, mustang II suspension with disc brakes up front. My current ride is a 52 chevy pickup, 327 engine, turbo 350 trans, 10 bolt rear, mustangII type front suspension with tubular A arms, disc brakes and air ride. I am currently doing some custom body work on the hood adding scoops, and nosing. This is a coplete body off rework of the whole car and I'll be adding a triangulated air ride 12 bolt posi rear, electronic Hilborn injection, larger fuel tank, bucket seats, custom made console, and probably an upgrade to an overdrive trans. The recent passing of my younger brother has changed my attitude about the truck, I'll just put it back together as is with the 305 sbc, and put it up for sale.
