    Lots of great contributions lately, thanks fellas.

    I especially liked Schreibs pics of the hot rods being flat towed in the parade, and the "health and safety" pic with the people on the hood of the car and the roof.

    french too;i can just agree with Jerry lee and thank all posters that show us that many amazing shots, every days something new to learn about things on wheels (and stuff about women with things on wheels too);)

    thats Johnny Kay the great midget race driver from conn. under diana shores elbow. Johnny was a non-qualifeyer at indy in the mid fifties and was hurt horribly in a race later on. Vintage shots is one of my favorites and i really want to thank all the contributors .

    Is that the Roy Desbrow truck on the left? Edward Lloyd has just built a very nice reinvention of this truck, it's on the hamb.

    I was in the 496th until 1991 when it closed, it was still Gold section. Towing an F-16 down those hills at night on ice was exciting...

    I'm guessing the first is at Bathurst and the second is at Catalina Park, NSW.
    Notice the alloy wheels on the Stude in the second pic - they had trouble with broken wheels at Bathurst, I read somewhere.
