Thanks. Had it done in a metalflake vinyl so it was user friendly when my grandsons are in it.

  5. I'm not that happy with it, but it's the best I can do at the moment.

  9. I was first gonna say the black on your truck with a grey and orange pinstipe, but I could also see the silver with a black and orange or black and red pinstripe. Tough call either way.

20051304-770-0@2X.jpg Started to work on my cabriolet again, and I'm thinking it needs the top lowered a bit, maybe 1.5". Mine is of course lowered and raked, running halibrands. However, this pic gives a good side view in order to check proportions. Or do you guys think stock height? Thanks in advance guys! 20051305-770-0@2X.jpg cabriolet 003.JPG

the 54 Chieftain grille looks the best to me, clean and uncluttered yet fills up the space well

The vette grille is out of proportion. I have one in my '53 Chevy. It's not that wid in the car.

Sorry. I still like the original look best, of the options offered. The straight bar one, is ok. Good luck!

  22. I never said the grille wasn't modified, I just wanted to offer an idea of how the car would look with that styleea...That being said how about something like this?

    Here's a rough (I mean rough) approximation.
The first is yours as posted. The second is with about 1 1/2" additional chop.

You guys blow me away! I wasn't expecting anything done on my car, just showing what it looks like. Figured you guys would just modify the pics of org. '31 top to give me an idea. I Think the top needs to come down a tad. One of these days, I'll get a good pic, so you guys can play with "colors". I've been thinking a single color in a dark red and tan/black top. Also open to suggestions! Thanks much, Paul.
