Hi, first off lete just say thanks in advance for the help and advice.

I have a 1966 Chevy C-20 with the I6 motor, 4 on the floor trans, and 3/4 ton rear end. I recently purchased a 373 posi rear end for it from the auto wreckers, it came from a 1990 suburban. The fella at the wrecking yard told me he could sell me the spindles with all of the disc break components for $100 per side. Does anyone know if that will work, and if there is any fabrication that would be involved in said project? Again, thanks for the help.

No. They are different, will not bolt up. A complete ft crossmember from a say 1985 Chev will make the converstion way easier. Are you going to remain C20 or going down to C10? This web site: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/index.php Join it as well.

Ok, so if I buy the spindles, the 85 front crossmember would make the conversion easier? I'll be changing it to a c-10, I think. I'm changing the rear end to a half ton 373. And hopefully buying a t5 trans for it. Thanks for the help, I'll go check out that site soon too.
