I THINK David has a block on copying from his site as he pays for many of his pictures. There's always something worth looking at there, I need to visit his shop.

    Hello,
I hope that nobody should be angry for "stealing" videos, from new veteran racing class “S.F. Edge Trophy” - “Edwardian racing specials of a type that raced up to 1923”:

If we can't have a ride, maybe to enjoy in ride of other happy and jolly people, in magnificent aero-engined monsters?

Zoran, to me going to watch them run would be an excellent reason to go to England. Maybe the only reason.

    Bob,
Nice period-photo of proud family and thier "wheels", like a few more on recent pages!
Glossy photos from museums, oldtimer shows and auctions are wonderful, but such old originals are with more spirit and real atmoshpere (for me). Better illustration of bygone era?

    Ciao,
    Zoran

    Nobo,
Quite right – visit England just to see in real such monsters, hear the noise of engines, to feel a smell of burning gasoline, oil and tyres, with vibration of ground!
    --- ---
Then – to visit as much as possible classic-car sprints and races, hill-climbs and trials... Then, some museums (automobile and aviation history), of courese - rest part of Brooklands race-track... Take a cruise on canal narrow-boats... and, to see wild Atlantic from high cliffs! Of course, try to drive on “the wrong side of a road”... In meantime visit London to Brighton Rally for pre-1905 automobiles.
And, of course – to see once more aero-engined and other Edwardian monsters!

    Modest wishes?
    (old ½ century)

    Zoran

Zoran, you forgot the D on my name. It's for Doug, which I answer to also. Sounds just like nobody!
