Projects 1950 CHEVY STYLELINE DELUXE

    we are building a 1950 styleline four door as a daily driver. we have a 1951 bel air that is getting disc brakes so we upgraded the bendix brakes onto the 1950. tomorrow we are installing a 1957 rear end with 3.40 gears and new axle bearings. here are the pictures of the brakes. we will post the rear end tomorrow.

  3. Love the hard tops. But man those blocks that it is sitting on look super scary....

    the stands are temporary, my wife thought they were hilarious. we are disappointed at the lack of shade tree mechanic comments.

  6. Ha! a true shade tree would have old logs holding the car up. That way you can roll it back and forth!

    That rear will have 3.36 gears. Most tri-fives with auto trans had that gear

    you are correct 3.36 gears. i rounded up.
