@Roothawg SE Oklahoma, A little unincorparated town in McCurtain co. called Watson. About 30 minutes from Broken Bow lake & 30 minutes from Cove Arkansas. Our place is currently just undeveloped land.
Wow, didn't realize OK soil was that problematic. Southern Minn has a lot of clay in the dirt, so's you need to be careful, depending where you are. Where I live now(midish E Minn), it's all sugar-sand. Has its' benefits, but sucks at times, too. Marcus...
We hunted down around Smithville for years. Lots of people that don't wanna be found down there. We were about 30 minutes from Mena, Arkansas. Right along Mountain Fork River. I love it down there.
Lone Star I’ve been called a Sasquatch also and I see one every morning when I look in the mirror. Lol
@Roothawg, Small world it is. Smithville is right next door. The kids in Watson go to school there now. Youre right about folks liking our privacy too. They just recently voted to stay unincorparated.. Great grandpa settled up there & opened a Conoco station & my family has been there ever since. If you know the trails you can get to Mt. Fork without ever hitting a highway. I didnt mean to muddy up your thread w my BS..sorry.
No worries my friend. Most people have no idea where Smithville is. We used to spend a lot of time around Boktuklo mountain. My father in law was born in Rattan, so he knew those hills like the back of his hand.
