This little guy makes me smile, calls me a couple times a week for a ride. Four year old grandson Silas loves going for rides in grandpas old cars.

I waited a long time for the right night to get my Galaxie in front of the Milky Way Galaxy and a Kansas thunderstorm. Still one of my favorite captures yet. 30 second exposure on my big camera while using the flashlight from my phone to light up the car. I could have done it better if I had better lighting with me, but I just happened to see the view and pulled over to get it while I could.

20240504_182457.jpg Apologies for the crap photo but just a picture of my daughter flushing out my first FE engine, 20 plus years ago. I remember reading a story from Pat Ganal where he painted a FE engine red and said, "it didn't go a diddle, but it looked good". So I painted my one red and he was right, it didn't go a diddle,, cheers

  15. We just got a new member to our family. My new granddaughter Roni. She’s in a pedal car that I made for my oldest daughter. Then my youngest daughter and four grandkids have all used it. savingPNG.jpeg IMG_2154.jpeg IMG_2171.jpeg

My wife found this pic from about 8 years ago. That kid sitting next to me just helped me drop the rebuilt engine in that Mercury, and break it in.
If you raise them around old cars, they appreciate them when they grow up.
