A pedal car with somewhat sketchy Port Kembla connections ... 'Young boy and girl with pedal car' photograph by Allan Green (1878-1954) who also took the photo of the ship 'Port Kembla'; also, an aerial photo of Port Kembla by Charles Daniel Pratt (1892-1968) and I am sure there is a Cyclops pedal car or two in that photo somewhere. [Green took hundreds - probably thousands - of ship photos and Pratt took lots of aerial photos.]

13 Barbara ave. in Warrawong 2502... After 53 years, I still remember the old address.. Last time I checked, the house is still there... We moved too the States back in 1971 and now living in Dearborn, Michigan.... Home town of Henry Ford...

[Edit: the radiator mascot on this pedal car appears to be a laughing kookaburra, perhaps the most iconic of all our birds. It has a unique (?) laughing or cackling call and a few of them together can put on a real performance. I wonder if all Cyclops of that vintage had this mascot?]

This must have been an expensive pedal car, with pump-up, whitewall tyres. Behind the woman's legs there is a cheaper version, with painted bumper and basic wheels/tyres. Hello, Recently, I had to take my wife’s station wagon in for a smog check prior to registration. So, the local smog place is one that we have used for plenty of our old cars since moving to the South coastal area many years ago. I had posted some information back then, when our granddaughter was a little toddler and now she is in college. So, this cool pedal car has been taken care of all of these years by the shop owner for his “Ready for the Grandchildren” phase of his family. But for the years of coming to this cool shop and his quality service, he still has the pedal car and it still has a nice wax job to keep it shiny and nice. Jnaki Since I saw it in 2000, the shop is cleaned up somewhat, but the testing side is outstanding. The test always goes smoothly and the certificate is always done. But, since I first saw the toy roadster on the ground, it has since been moved high, away from prying hands. I noticed it on the file cabinets and realized, he is still waiting for grandchildren... So, I had to ask, but in doing so, his reply is … “No, it is not for sale…” But, you will be the first to know. YRMV

I'm stepping a bit outside the rules here, because this pic from searching 'Port Kembla pedal car' is a billy cart, but maybe he had some cheater pedals in there.
That's exactly what we used to call those.... But I was poor and had to make mine out of a few pieces of wood, baby buggy wheels and a length of rope for steering.... No brakes!....
