Howdy from Ok.
Hello all, I'm Doc from Marlow Ok. New to H.A.M.B. -GREAT site!
I've been a gearhead all my life. Did my formative years (teens) in California (Clovis - Fresno) Blackstone Ave. was great in the 60s!! I'm DEEEEP into 53-56 F-100s -64 -65 Falcons, - Ford man but like all pre 70s stuff no matter the maker. |

Hello Jeff and Royalshifter - Yep was in Fresno and Clovis, Mid 50s Early60s Grade school in Fresno(don't remember much there) was in Clovis Hi 62-63. Then moved back to Oklahoma. I'm an original OKIE, dislocated to CA., But we made enough pickin' cotton and cutting grapes to move back out of Calif.

Hi Doc, This is Jeff in North Carolina (formerly Georgia). I have been in Marlow several time in the past 25-30 years. Do you know Ken Glover at Glover's Paint and Body on East Ballpark Drive. If not take the time to drive over and meet him and his son Justin. Justin is now the 3rd generation at the shop and they do Good Work. Tell him that Jeff said Hello !!! You guys can have a good time at the Chickasha Swap Meets..... Jeff

Yes I know of the Glovers. Not real personal, just of them and their bodyshop. Knew of their Dad when he was down on Railroad and Main, always had a lot of Rods hanging around there back in the day. Did good work also! I guess gen 2 & 3 take after the old man! |
