I have a chopped custom coupe for sale. I bought it as a roller and finished all but windshield trim on exterior and sewing interior on the inside. Almost rust free coupe to start. 3" chop, leaned B pillars, radiused doors, added smooth drip rail, pie cut hood, rear fenders are welded in. 64 impala tail lights frenched, frenched head lamps, louvered hood with custom latch mount, shaved door handles with remote openers. Bitchin running boards welded in, bitchin louvered inner fenders, bitchin radiator support, bitchin dash with extension welded on bottom, 1940 15" steering wheel, tilt column shortened 4", southern max 2 air cond. compressor mounted at fuel pump site with Alan grove bracket (not hidden but out of sight), tanks poly gas tank with their electric fuel pump in tank, msd fuel regulator, 600 ebrock carb and intake, Caddy air cleaner, pertronix, hooker, finned alum valve covers, 355 Chevy engine, 350 turbo, versailles 9" rear w/ 4 wheel disc brakes. Master under floor. No power steering. Mustang 2 front, steelies with Coker WWW tires, 1942 caps, new glass, rubbers, w strip, all interior panels made including trunk- doors are alum, rest is ABS. Fat mat, stock seats , garnish moulings are painted and installed. Car is 1946 dynamic maroon base-clear Dupont. Interior dash vinyl is symphony classic "buff". Car needs interior material sewed, windshield trim cut welded and polished to finish(I have two sets with two center bars) to be a complete car. Car has 1400 miles on everything as of now. Slick, straight, and looks period correct. Have tons of time and money in car. Buy now and drive to Street rod nationals. Runs, stops great and straight , drives awesome, Cold air.. Custom side trim, shortened hood trim, custom battery box behind splash pan on RH front fender, spare tire, jack, new bumpers, secret audio too much to list all. to answer a phone question... the guy that chopped the top worked for George Barris in the 60's. I have his name written down somewhere and if I find it i will post it. He showed me pictures of him as a younger man with Barris at his shop. Car originally out of south dakota museum of some sort and roughed in at this guys house in Northern Indiana. He traded it to a guy named Floyd for a couple old cars. I bought off Floyd but went to the guy who chopped it's house and hung out for a few hours before I bought the car. Really cool dude with some cool pics and stories.
