Well, I decided to clean out the garage today, the dust was getting a little thick and since it was sunny and 45 in Buffalo today I took some pics of the clunker.

Pic 1 - September, the day it came home after sitting since 1963 used as a storage box for some old folks record albums

Pic 2&3: Wheels I just painted last night with the new cokers on...I did them Black with a ton of red flake, I did the engine compartment to match

Pic 4&5: The car after doing quarters and rockers and preliminary body work ...did the rear notch and installed the rear bags...
Big thanks to Rusty Pipes and Alex Gambino for all the help with the rear set up....

Still need to bag the front, and finish the body...hopefully in the next 2 months I can wrap it up and be ready for spring.

Thanks to everyone who has answered my stupid questions along the way.......

    Happy New Year

    Will

Very nice lookin job...do you (or anybody) have any step-by-step pics of a frame notch job? also when a frame has been "Zd" what does that mean exactly, I've done a few front IFS clip jobs and some lowering blocks but that process escapes me...Thanks...rixrex

I just followed Phil's (RustyPipes) directions:
    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123065&highlight=gambino+notch

As far as Zing a frame, it involves kicking up a frame rail -----\____ rather than the stock ------------- I think it involves a lot to Z one of these.....Im just bagging and using dropped uprights up front

A chop would be great, let me know what time you'll be here :D

Im thinking for now running it the way it is, but if I could get some back up, I would wack the roof no problem....
