Here is a picture of my mounting of the shear. I fit the tubing to the metal part of the shear and used a cutoff wheel to put 2 slits for a hose clamp to hold it.
It was preaty simple. Here is a vice grip I modified to spread for one of my projects last winter. It has a nice range of adjustment and still has some power. |

Home built metal cutting band saw...investment about $100 and it cuts just as good as a $2-3000 band saw, except for a tilting table.

Made this from a discharged and cleaned fire extinguisher and a 1/4 inch NPT schrader valve.
Only used it with water for a test but it holds about 180 psi when it's undercharged on the gauge and blasts water about 15 feet into the air. I'm gonna try baking soda when I get time. The only downside is that it's not easy to quickly refill the blasting soda. Why anyone would need it to be portable, I don't really know. Or care, just was bored. |

Yeah it was gonna be a flame thrower but I decided against it for safety reasons. But wouldn't that be cool. A fire extinguisher... that starts fires.

I have wanted to make a flame throwing fire extinguisher, would be simple, just replace the powder with Coffemate and get it re-charged with nitrogen. Spray it at a fire and hope your up wind of it.

Built this gantry crane w/ an 8k lb winch to make life easy. What was not so easy... Building it in NJ, cutting it down and having to put it back together here in Indiana.

Here's my adjustable creeper backrest. I covered a 5/8" piece of plywood with foam padding and a piece of vinyl cut from an old tonneau cover. The headrest has 3 positions, and also folds flat.
Very stable and comfy!
