It's hard to look at that frame when your Deuce is right next to it, and that Volkswagen too. But I was able to avert my eyes enough to admire your craftsmanship. Looks good!
By the way, you have a sweet shop too! That is how I envision mine will look like once I find a suitable shop.

Great work. I love these art comes to life threads. You guys are amazing at capturing it.
There we a couple of other threads a few months back where a guy was chronicling his buddy building cars from pieces of art. I can't find it but yours reminded me of the theme. Love it. Thanks! Subscribed! |

i normaly like to be different and do my own thing but when jimmys art came out in the r&c magazine a few years back, i just knew i was building that tub. i realy like 28 29 model a's and the art just seamed so right. the only thing i did different was the windshield. i just like original winshields better.

Man, this is just too cool! What gauge sheet did you use for the floor? And now that its welded in how are you going to strengthen it so it doesn't oil can? Or is it heavy enough that it won't?

it is 16 gauge . i should have rolled some beads in the floof to keep it from rattling but it is kind of heavy and i will run bolts throught the floor in the x members like a 33-336 ford. theat should keep the noise down. i am trying to get the car dont and running out of time. i wanted to have it ready to go to bonneville speedweek this year but time is running out quick . i have to have the tub running buy the first week in october at the latest.
