had mine since 1970, engine swapped to a 56 230 with dual carbs and some other stuff.

I,m 60 my first intro to hod roddin my bro ,s 46 special delux coupe, crys spit, long leg crank way over over bored truck trans split exhaust ,I was 6 or seven primer cause they didnt have alot of dough car left a impression to this day I,m a lifelong mopar guy those cars were just too cool and the attitude...................well way before rat rods

Oh my bro went nuts on Medors coupe in 83 I did a photo shoot with him in okc and some of the "dukes" what a expereance that was a whole nother story but my bro knew the car before gary even opened the hood ..........he could tell by the sound!!

Finally, a site I've been hoping for. I felt like an orphan owning a 48 Plymouth. Most people just walk past it at car shows because its not a ford or chevy. We put the same love and hard work in our Plymouths, also. Thanks, for showing your Plymouths.

Your coupe is sweet Dons48. I to feel the same way you do however, i do see a lot more late 40s plymouths around at shows lately. To lower the front i cut 2 spins out of the coil spring and used 4in lowering blocks in back. I had to make them do to the leaf spring only 2in wide. 2x4 1/4in iron will do the trick. Here is side shot of the car.
