Hi all, its been a while since I posted but here's the scoop-I am a woman that is trying to learn how to weld and do bodywork on my '59 Desoto. Thanks to the HAMB, I feel there may be hope for me and my Desoto. The latest thing I've done to it is replace the front section of the fender with a donor piece from another Desoto. The other car was a Fireflite thus the fender was a bit different but I am trying to make it work. I just wanted to say thanks for all the great posts and all the great people-because of you, I welded this piece together and with a little filler, it might look alright.
George, thanks-I've been posting there since I bought the car. The members of that site are very, very knowledgeable but not many have build threads...maybe that's a good thing for them
