First off I am slow to post pics

I first tagged on to hitchhikers chop post regarding pillars and thought I should just start a build thread.

I bought it a couple months ago as a complete stocker with 40 ford brakes.

Here's the first time I drove it. Then a pic with the family

Have fun with the build, mine too started out that way but detoured along the way to the path of hotrod.

    Is four inches enough?

RAD! Looks a lot like mine-same colors and everything... I'll be watching this one.

  9. Judging by the size of your family, four inches must be enough! :D

But in all seriousness, you have a great looking family, and an awesome start to a new hot rod. I'll be subscribing to follow along on this build for sure. Good luck!

when you say backing your butt welds, Im taking it as your leaving that large strip of metal behind your welded panels?
You might want to ask around about doing that. Ive found that any time there are layers of of sheetmetal, rust will always start between them due to condensation.

Nice project there A-Rodder! I had to build a Tudor, to get my family to join me on trips.. Now the kids are growing up, but I still love It!! Got 4 inch chop. Think It's enough. Now,-get back to working on that Hot-Rod!!

Thank you guys all for the compliments and support.

I originally wanted a coupe but was able to trade into a Tudor. It was the best model in regards to having kids. Then we had more. Then we had more. Then I bought a wagon :D

You'll see my Tudor in the background of the above pics, Joe

Same owner since 68, last driven in 78 and been in the garage since. Lower cowl issues an a bent frame horn is about the extent of the damage. Other than most of the roof peeling of lastnight on our way home, its all pretty good.

It still has red lipstick on the driver rear glass from writing on it from when he got married in it
