Hey Painter Boy thanks for posting them.
We enjoy checking out the Friday Art Show every week . there's always great art to see.
Ten shops were asked to build a pedal car for the 80 th. anniversary of the 32 Ford . Each shop was sent the same car to build to be auctioned off for a fund raiser for the Petersen.
As luck would have it Keith's father was given that same pedal car sometime in the early fifties. Of course boys being boys and all were car crazy back then , he and a couple of friends rebuild it into a hot rod.
Keith remembered it was stored up in the attic over the shop so we went up there and dragged it down , blew off the dust and shipped it to the Petersen. Hope they won't be to embarrassed to display it with all those new shinny ones the other guys built.

  6. I got this gasser too.. I imagined it. My girl next door's mum (mom?) had one of these, a red Triumph Herald. Factory flip front, flimsy, unreliable. Perhaps a law could be passed whereby all Triumph Heralds are to be turned into gassers.

I just finished up these two photoshop projects for my art design class. This is my first time to use photoshop so they aren't that great, but it's a start. BTW, after viewing all the great work presented on here over the years it's cool to finally have something of my own to contribute!

Hello! I haven't posted here in awhile but I've been checking in on the art show! I've still been sketching & keeping it loose. I ran across a new free program (new to me) called Alchemy. Just playing around...

Here's something I started last week in between commissioned art jobs....sometimes ya just gotta take a break and do your own thing!

  14. Nice Todd!

    Two projects for Dutch clients:

Harm-Jan de Roos - owner of Lilypad Hot Rods & Choppers - is working on a 1940's inspired flathead Ford powered belly tank racer when he's not working on client cars or motorcycles. He wanted a vintage looking logo to promote his project:

André - owner of Autoservice Roadrunner - is a MoPar guy through and through and he races a charcoal '69 Plymouth Roadrunner on the weekends. His buddy competes in a '70 Dodge Challenger and these gearheads needed a cartoon drawing of their cars at the dragstrip for their new racing team T-shirts:

Great show folks. I found some old customcory shop floor scraps under the sandblaster this week. I have no clue how old they are. Maybe 10 years or more.

Off to another great start. Thought I would put this in before I go to work. This is the first round of the Chevy I posted a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait to hear from Ken on that cool car. Great stuff Gary. Can't wait to see that one finished Todd (I love those belly tankers). Great stuff as usual Dutch (again with the tanker) and monster (I really like that style). Great pic Hotrod, Bob and nice effects tulilanka. So lets see some more.

Groovy stuff kids, Ger, the belly tanker logo is off the hook. Jimmy B, a reminder not to sit to low in the bleachers at the corners, unless you like getting pelted with dirt, "do it in the dirt". Jeff, that racer is awesome, love everything exhibited. Gracious artistos! ~sololobo~

An Argentinian friend of mine, a fellow pixelcar artist, did a base of his native car, 1962 IAME Rastrojero Diesel. So I gave it a try!
