Yes, help was needed. But remember, this is a major holiday week-end. In the early HAMB days there was a tighter network for these kinds of things. So many have overrun this place. A side note to all: Have a system in place when traveling long distances in old cars. A call list. A route that along the way MAY have parts and people (rol-i-dex) to be there in case.

I have roadside assistance with Haggerty Insurance. It does not cover everything and is included in the policy. I think I might get some on the 89 Olds when on vacation. It still has one original tire.

If you are a member of the National Street Rod Association , one of the perks is the Fellow Paqes. Its a booklet containing contact info for other members all across the country who will help Fellow members in situations like this. There are there are a couple hundred members and clubs listed for Colorado .
Consider joining NSRA.
