I just got myself a really cool Volvo, never thought I'd say that. But I love it, it's such a neat car. It's a 1965 Sport with the B16 with Dual Carbs and the 4 Speed. Has a Fuel Cell and the rear wheels have been banded 2" and has 205 tires on the rear.

Reece one of my favourite cars and possibly a strong contender for my next car . Love them, a very US styled car, just a little smaller. Parts are still plentyful aswell.
I've got a nicely built B20 on Webers waiting for the right car. Also got some sectioned rear light housings. Car looks great by the way!!! Dan

I've seen quite a few of these cars on the HAMB. Styles been going since 55, the PV was out in 58. Perfect 2 door cruiser, even if it is european
![]() ![]() ![]() I'd love it, just wouldn't call it a Street Rod, especially here

I stare at this pic so much. This is exactly what i'd have. A mint stocker, few subtle custom mods, nicely slammed with a warmed B20 in it. Okay it's not a Ford or Chevy etc but hey ho, fucking cool car either way, even if it is a euro box
![]() ![]() ![]() Started making these in 55, the PV in 58, all LHD and 2 door. Cool ass car!!

Cool! I've always loved those cars.
The motor & trans are stock. Think about upgrading to a B18 or B20. I think they are bolt in replacements.

NICE! By the way, you have a B18 (or B20) engine in that not the older B16.

Reece check your engine block. You may have a B18 already in there. The B16's were fased out in 1962 and replaced with the B18. As yours is dual carb (if original) your engine code should be B18D. If it is a B20 will bolt straight up. Find one in a very O/T 1800s/142 or 240 with the bosch ignition and carb it.
From what i know they made these cars in Canada in 1963 outside of Sweden and some of them were fitted with the earlier 3 bearing B16. I've pm'd you Dan

And yes, I still think of it as a street rod, maybe not all the way yet, but I love this one below!
