Now wtf is a hard one 'cause I never know of it what or who.
![]() LOL=laughing out loud LMFAO (normally only used by the beaner who has no quoth)= laughing my fucking ass off Anyway no reason to feel alone on the subject I have always been lousy at acronyms. I had an algebra teacher once that had all these acronyms that she would put on the tests and I never knew what they meant. Just show me how to work the equation and forget the extraneous BS. OH yea BS = Bull Shit

All of these predate the world wide web- considerably. They were first used on dialup bbs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulletin_board_system, and then became common starting in the early days of the "internet" on usenet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet
They've since transcended into www forums like this one, and are a part of the online vernacular. Here's a list I found online. http://css.sbcma.com/timj/acronyms/ But most folks these days use only the really common ones. |
