I am looking for a little help trying to get mor info about a 1933 Ford
has a 429 Cobra Jet motor, 4 link, pretty fun car...

Starting to do some work on it and looking for more info on the car in general. I heard it used to race at the following places
    • QUEEN WILHELMINA ROAD RACE 2009
    • The NAVASOTO DRAG STRIP MAR. 2011
Anybody know anything about the car or who built it?

Sounds like it could be a fun car, but one thing for sure it looks like it didn't fare too well in the QUEEN WILHELMINA ROAD RACE !

Navasota drag strip is a pretty small off the beaten path track here in Tx.

Hoping I can find somebody who might know the previous owner/builder

  6. There was a thread on here a few months back about that car. The OP was (best I remember) looking to buy it and wanted opinions. Don't recall the thread title, sorry.

  15. Queen Wilhelmina Road, the mountain road in Ark. ? Not sure Ide want to take 800 hp up or down that road. I did ride a street luge down it about 20 years ago, didnt turn out well.

The 429/460 can make 1000 hp with one dom carb with proper head flow. Several companys still build the old BBF and the FE'S are still out there at a high price.
