Somehow it is easier to picture Grandkids in a Fordor than a Roadster. Bob

Every stick of wood is out except for the header. Once the metal bracing goes in it is off to American Dry Stripping in Milford, Ct.

MJW is selling the 1927 T Touring Car body I sold back in 1972. Sold the whole car, thought it had been restored a long time ago but it just sat, and the fellow that bought it from the guy I sold it to parted it out. I looked at it, and it brought back lots of good memories, but I desided to keep focused on the '29 Steelback.. The '27 T was the very first car I owned, bought on my 16th birthday, delivered on New Years day 1968 for $225.00. Rough '26 Tudor, that I replaced just about everything on to have a '27 Touring at the end. Bob

Thanksgiving087_zps0c892c62.jpg I was so happy, sold off enough stuff to cover the cost of a new top wood kit from Classic Wood. Ordered it and it will be ready in about 4 weeks. I got sidetracked today and invested that money in a 14 foot tall stack of books. Should help fund a lot of the project, they will make great Christmas gifts. Bob

WOW! Thanks Ned, that is one good looking car. It is a twin to the 1933 Lagonda i had back in the 1970's. Sure brings back a lot of memories, I had a complete chassis with fenders , no body other than the four doors. Merry Christmas! Bob

Thanksgiving250_zps5322c63e.jpg Ever save something by placing your body between the item and the dumpster it was going into? my save of the week was this diningroom piece that was once in a big house on Main Street. Future parts storage and workbench. Hope to fit in between the 354 HEMI and the step ladder. Details at 6:00. Bob

Got some parts back from the sandblaster and gave them a coat of primer. Still daydreaming about fenders. Bob

Classic Wood called, my Top Wood kit is ready to ship, funds were sent. This is the first major expence on the project, next is the trip to the blaster after I run some cross braces. Bob

Thanksgiving1238_zps65c7467d.jpg I'm on a roll, the Windshield upper hinge arrived from HAMB member Tub In Da Dirt, a really nice upgrade from the rusted out one I had. Need both windshield post garnish mouldings and I've got all the inside trim pieces. Bob

Felt good to finally drill out all the screws that held the wood header in. Now i have to weld in bracing so the inner body framework can get blasted.

2015LARSFund301_zps1f593b4c.jpg Sorting, I like that. One of my problems is moving stuff that arrives to the back of the garage, the stuff that I consider to be a "keeper", stuff in the middle is in the way. The spring in that garage door has been broken for years, calling the repair guy just hasn't been in the cards. Some of the "stuff" is on "that auction site" but it isn't of any interest so far. Monday is a dump day for me, there is a "Free Table" there, that is part of my problem.Saved this sign from the dump just last month. Bob

Looks like a lot more stuff will get added to the Spring Clean Up Sale.......I've desided the project needs a set of the Kevin Lee AREO DISKS. They will look better than the wire wheels in the sketch, and in the long run save me some money. They look great on the CTaulbert '32 Tudor. I've started bracing the body for the trip to the sandblaster, progress is progess no matter how small. Bob

JET%20BLUE%20472_zpsl65ldv2s.jpg The Inspector stopped by today, he didn't say anything about having it roadworthy in 13 years. Ordered my Areo Disks today, moved enough stuff to get the body outside as soon as the bracing is installed.

  28. Looking good Bob ................but those windows will not match the theme of the build:eek:o_O:rolleyes::p:D JW

Now that things are warming up the long overdue back wall rebuild on the garage can be taken care of. That window will look great once it's installed and out of the way. Bob
