Is the Vicky dash closer to the 5 window dash? I’m not super familiar with them.

Ok so so a 3 window dash into a 5 window should be the same steps etc. I’ll do a search later I’m sure it’s been covered

I see that a filled roof allows for more storage space.

Browsing a couple dozen threads when I searched for this I couldn’t find any solid examples but it does seem that majority of the shape difference is the top of the dash so many suggested splicing the top of a 5 window dash onto a 3 window dash would be be quickest route if your not a proficient metal shaper.

  11. Thanks for the assistance. There is a difference in the way it mounts, closed car is by screws on the face, 3 window from behind. Until I get the dash in my hands, gonna be a guessing game.

It would be interesting to see a 3Window and Coupe/Sedan with the dash removed, I think the understructure under the windshield may differ. Bob

3 window is all on its own the dash has slots , that drop down on bolts in the cowl tightened from under the dash inside . One bolt each lower corner . At lease that’s the why my 3w is .

A 32 3-window dash was the precursor to the 33-34 dashes. Same mounting system, basically.

Is the 32 Vicky a Murray body the same as the 3 window is? @deucepickup32 does your Vicky have the screws in the face of the dash?

i have a glass 32 3 window dash in a 32 pickup.. center hole lines up. 3 widow is shorter than truck, and likely car.. so I think you will need to add to the end of the dash.

  17. I was told that the 3 window dash would need to be trimmed about 1/4” to fit.
