Technical 55-59 Chevy trucks, 17 inch wheels on stock height?

Hi all,

Just wanted to see if anyone is running 17 inch wheels on a stock height 55-59 Chevy truck. Any photos with tire sizes would be greatly appreciated.

Knowing what is mostly being made in a 17 inch wheel you probably won't find your question very well recieved around here.
Should also have included available tires.

 

Iirc, back on the farm they had a ‘59 GMC 3/4 ton pickup with 16.5” wheels. Truck sat up pretty high and ride stiff but could carry one heck of a load.

 

Don’t bother me none, still interested to see if anyone has anything.

 

That was a gentle hint that, unless you're looking for a 17" steel plate wheel, 17" custom wheels are off-topic here.
