59 cadillac taillight on steroids

I saw a set of what I think were 59 cadillac taillights one time that were about 5" in diameter and 5-6" long. I believe they may have come on an ambulance. Seems like someone posted a picture of them on the HAMB also. Anyone ever seen the same? I have a similar set on my 59 buick but not quite that defined. Anyway I would like to talk with someone if they know about these. I have gone through the search process and can't come up with anything.Thanks TP

 

I've seen once one.Friend of mine is a Cadillac guy.He has 5 Caddy's,all 59's.
Once he said that there is a OEM tail light lense in ebay and he asked me to buy it for him.I bought it for him,but it was from ambulance,not from car like my friend thought.It was really huge cone comparing to the regular 59' lense.

 

what finnrodder said. they're actually off the top of an ambulance.

Sold a really nice set of 4 of them to a HAMBER a few years ago.. They are huge,and look cool as hell. Don't know if he's ever used them,or still got them,maybe he'll chime in

 

Kelly pucket used those lights on a 60 cadillac he built. They looked really good.

I have a set slightly smaller on my 59 buick now. I want to get a set of the larger and french them in. Thanks, maybe someone will chime in that has a set or makes them. TP

caddy lights are soooo played out in my opinion, but those are great!
