Help me out here,when did a question about asking for help in finding what's available in bucket seats in a 30's era Ford become off topic?

Clearly states in the official hot rod rule book "you can not call individual seats "bucket seats" in a hot rod... must be referred to as "bomber seats"

Has anyone used two seats out of period correct fighters? Bob

 

Virtually all of the pictured examples given were of late model pull outs.

 

About your only options are going to be late model stuff that needs modified and redone to look right. old air plane seats- bombers fighters or grandpas commfy Cessna works too. There was a thing with old shopping carts but new carts don't work, fiberglass laundromat or bowling alley seats ala gasser.

Revamped late model seats should be on topic because that's what I think. Not direct pull outs / that's stupid- also what I think.

 

Of course you can use whatever seat you want, that is not in question.
I thought the early Scout seat example was very tasteful.
But it was the anomaly, most were in line with the '84 Fiero example.
Pictures of late model cars or parts is not what this place is about.

 

Good googly,moogaly a seat is a seat,for crying out loud,IMHO this is splitting hairs.

I never got a PM from the front office telling me what I did wrong nor a reply here so I'm going to reword my request and try it again. HRP
