Very impressive work. A tip of the hardhat to you and your talented machinist Dad! Thanks for the pictures along the way. Good luck
AWESOME!! This thing gives me goosebumps! The machine work is definately top drawer. A man after my own heart. Wish my Pops was around to see this piece. Kudos man!
Tremendous work on that. Love your frame jig, that thing has to weigh a little bit thats for sure! Kudos to your pops for the extensive machine work. Heck my dad was a machinist, but to me this was like him climbing mount everest! Lotta work and thought to make that all come together. Cant imagine what a shop would have charged to do all that! Sweet project, now drive the crap out of it!
Hi Cool car and great to see the pics on the transmission setup. I'm planning to go with a Lincoln OD in my 34 too. Where is the OD solenoid? how did you cut the crossmember to make it fit? Thanks, Magnus
Thank you very much for this inspiring thread. I, too, have a '34 Ford 5 window coupe project. Considering the machine work done on the engine, I'm willing to bet that your frame repair is "dead on". One thing is certain - you've absolutely nailed "the look" for this car. Thank you for sharing the photos and story.
Very nice. I really like what you have done! Said it before, say it again. 32's were a good step in style and design, but 33/4's is where Ford perfected it. Beautiful cars!
