Finally..a color I Love..3rd times a charm

    To whome it may concern, its a PPG base, I'm assuming a metallic base not a 3 stage? Did you clear it? What did you use, their flattened clear? Or did you have some concoction made up? I'm going to try and copy you a little for a job that the guy wanted HoT Rod Flatz. Obviously I won't get the exact color as you but he picked through some of my PPG charts and liked a couple colors. I've never shot their flattened clear so I'm interested how flat it will make it.

    Slowand Low,

    Yes ppg base 2 stage base/clear minus the clear, not a 3 stage.
    I tried their flat clear but it seemed to still have a gloss to it not really glossy but more than I wanted...

    I shot pure base, no clear, went on nice and smooth and has the suede look to it....

    awesome, much improved over the previous. I agree, hold off on the scallops, looks killer as is.

    Well you better pump those bags up or you'll give a whole new meaning to snow plowing ;)

    My car got stuck on a 1/2 of snow the other day just pulling it out of the garage.....
