Greaser if I read correctly you installed Aerostar springs in front and 4" blocks in rear - so how's the ride and more importantly is there any issues in the rear - drive shaft rubbing or riding on the bump stops?? I've got 2" now and thinking of going to 4" but only if there's no rubbing.
Also what was your spray painting set up - very impressed how you painted so well in such a small garage - and no over spray too! I'm thinking about painting my top Viper blue like you do your flake green.
    Your car really looks great.

    Thank you BLUDICE!!!!!!!
I had no choice to paint my Ford in my small garage, lol ;)
For the front yes it is of the aerostar and for the back blocks of 4 inches and cut bumps stops, on road OK!!!!! The deck touched from time to time, but nothing nasty.
Your Ford with a blue top,yes really nice,i'm painted my model kit '57 ford del rio black with blue flaked roof and it's really good stance

  5. Greaser!, man just read through this hole thread in awe. First a very very cool build with lots of taste. Second the outcome is a mild very tastefull custom. and third working with your kid, thats the cherry on top. I find that very cool. Well done man, you've got skills.
Now.. what happened to the six? Why the need for change?
    Keep it up.
PS-subscribed because i see you're the kind of guy that will not settle. You'll paint the car and upgrade the custom work many times, for our joy! I bet a roof chop is something on your mind.

    Thanks RUI !!!!!!!!
My 6 is really tired, really tired!!!! That's why I change it for an other one and why a V8??, because too many modifications to be made and I found it 6 cyl which works hardly ;)
Future plan for the new 6 cylinders is a offenhauser dual carburetors & offenhauser valve covers:cool:

  9. greaser 35, when you changed to Aerostar front springs, did you have to get a wheel alignment? Really like your car.

  30. Very nice Greaser, congrats.
Have you tested the dual setup? How about it?
How about removing the bolts that hold the exhaust and intake manifolds in place? Frozen ones? Was it easy to place and secure the new gasket?
I see you are still running the OE exhaust pipe, what are ya gonna do about it?
