Hello, I was in a college extension class learning about design. But, as the lecture rolled on, I became more interested in my favorite past time: “drawing flames.” So, I reverted to the wild turkey…No, not that kind… The kind that run around pleading for help a few days before Thanksgiving. My drawings of turkeys had to have many modifications before it got too weird. Many years later, I gave a Thanksgiving card to my granddaughter and her comment to my wife was…”Wouldn’t you know it?” But, she loved the pop up aspect of the card. I had the big bird flipping the #1 sign where the hot rod was placed in the original card. The heart portion folds down into the card. Not directly related to cars but is a beer keg stool and ice chest in my garage. Graphics and lettering were done by Bob Coslett an extremely talented artist. Ol Horse Wiz beer, one of my favorites.
