He speaks !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

For those of you that have not met Kevin, he is an absolute gentleman. We have known about each other since the halcyon days of Nostalgia racing at Fremont in the 80's, I finally met him at LARS in 2016. After that, he noticed my meat cleaver collection in the background of a picture inside my shop, and sent me an Auto Butchers plaque. That's the testimony of the type of guy he is. BTW Kev, you made Pat Ganahl envious !

And the music was right on the money,,,,,,really set the tone for the video !

Love this, Kev! One hell of a collection. I admire the humor put into some of the signs and such. Also, I saw a few dimmer switch pedal pads and I was, "of course he has a collection of those!" I have a few neat NOS dimmer pedal pads. I figured I'd use one on my coupe, then a cooler one came along and then a pair... haha.

I imagine that's about the slowest you've ever walked around your shop.

What an awesome collection!

 

Any of you guys who remember me....know that i used to put together a caravan to the Primer Nats(now Ventura Nats) every year. Saturday, after the show we would go to KiwiKevs house for a BBQ! I did a thread every year showing the MECA of Hotrod Heaven, that's Kev's garage! He was such a great host, and we all pitched in something(money, chips, sodas, or something). Best part of the whole weekend. I really miss those Kevin.
You can do a search for KiwiKevs BBQ, or Bad Bob's caravan to Primer Nats, and see the pics from 15-20 yrs ago.

 

I also took videos of people arriving, like Piero in the Live Wire, Tetanus Shots Hudson, Customs, Gassers, Hotrods, etc....Chris Casny in whatever he had built that year....

 

Kev, incredible, fantastic, mind blowing, overload of extremely cool vintage hot rod gold. Thank you so very much sir for sharing this . I now feel like a complete hack, loser in comparison. You are truly the collector of ALL that is interesting and hot rod holy grail.

I met you at the Primer Nats when we spent a year in LA, 17 or so years ago. I signed the HAMB banner you had there. Great memories.

 

I need to figure out how to have your video run on a continuous loop in my barn on my 40” flat screen…all day when I walk by it I can enjoy it and get inspired!!
