With all the "Rat Rod" controversy lately, I thought I'd bring this back up for a little inspiration.
Don't damn us Larry. At least you know what it's like sit in such a fine deuce. The rest of us make love to our wives thinking about the 3wLarry coupe. Tis better to love and lost then to have....oh never mind that coupe is fucking beautiful as is your old one.
Ooops. Just realized how old the thread is. Never mind that comment Larry. At the time of this thread's conception you are currently dreaming up the rest of your coupe.
Oh my god. I completely got in trouble with my wife when I saw this coupe. We were in the middle of an important conversation and all she got was silence. Man, what a beautiful car. I agree with Norwell "It is one of the BEST 32 5-win ever built!"
can't stop looking at this beauty.....that's what she said!!! The Caddy motor is what sets this duece apart...it's beautiful.
Isn't the speedo out of an old knuckle head harley police bike? I wonder if they made one like that for the MPs bikes in WWII. There was one on egay a couple months ago and it caught my eye but because of the price, I kept on looking. We should have taken a poll on this thread to see who has the best 32 around.
That is funny... details (like that Vega box) that rankle so many folks seem to dissappear when you step back and see how beautiful the whole sum is. I took special notice of the parallel leaf set-up. My '34 has this same configuration and I keep thinking about changing it, but man... this car kinda eases my mind.
How hard is it to get hold of 6 97s and can anyone tell me about the Scott tops on these?? What, where how? Cheers, Doc.
How hard? Are we talking rockwell? You can buy 6 brand new ones Doc. But you knew that. Or spend plenty to scrounge old ones, pay for them then pay to have them fix up. Either way, you pay. But hey, you CAN get them.
D'uh, yeah I should have thought for 2 seconds before posting that, but I do want to know about the Scott tops.
Yeah, yeah OLD thread, but it a gorgeous coupe! Let's kick this back to the top for any who might have never seen it.
