  9. Well now, looks like you're off to a good start Grim . I know a few builders who would enjoy this thread. As for me, I love a good comeback story and yours fits the bill nicely. Good luck with your work and your future sir.

Custom interior pieces done by Wild Childs circa 1960s. Really cool stuff.

Looks like he is knee deep in building high lifter ATV's. Which reminds me of the swamp buggy racing in South Florida.

OK, sorry for the OT pic, but probably won't hurt this thread. Started with such great potential. Hoping Justin makes a ton of money building ATV's and can get WC's back off the ground again!

My reaction also. Sure looks like vintage Wild Child's.

The kid sold the building. Sad story. A brilliant mind. I respect what he was trying to do with the hand he was dealt and trying to live and share something positive out of the place. Weird things happened around there in real life the dad kids and it wasn't at all good stuff. This legend and story of wild childs custom shop he wrote here is really something amazing, but from a guy whos been around know its not the story of jim greene the man. These stories say more about the kids rosey focus and state of mind. This kid took abuse. I don't know how he did it but the kid had heart. Enough said. Go Justin and don't look back! Steer clear of your Dad, you're the best thing that shop ever made! Your an inspiration.

I'll never for get the few times I delivered parts to his shop in the late 90's. One interesting man indeed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Late 60's I would stop in and visit the guys at Wild Child's. Always some neat stuff going on. RIP Jim, and condolences to his family and friends.
