Thank you for the helpful hint. I am serious about learning something other than upload file and post reply. When I first started this adventure in 2018, @Moriarity spent a bunch of time helping me, which I greatly appreciated. Once I learn more, maybe I'll get a new laptop, even though the scotch tape on the screen frame seems to be holding up well. Thanks again.

If you're running Windows open up Notepad or Wordpad. If you use Notepad click the toolbar where it says Format and then click Word Wrap if it isn't already checked. Come back to the HAMB and place your cursor anywhere in a body of text in a post. Left click 2 or 3 times until a section of text is highlighted in blue. Doing this selects that text. Now you get to make a choice. You can right click to open a context menu and left click where it says "Copy". Or press "Ctrl"+"C" simultaneously on the keyboard. Either way it will copy the selected text to the "clipboard". Then go back to Notepad or Wordpad and place the cursor on the page. Now either right click, then left click where it says "Paste", or press "Ctrl"+"V" on the keyboard. Then pat yourself on the back when the selected text magically appears! (I just copied and pasted this reply from Notepad.)

Just learn what you will use and expand as you can. Learning every keyboard shortcut won't work, there are so many and if you don't use it, you will lose it.

It begins with composition of your photographs. Not, just point and shoot like the ancient Kodak cameras of the old days. Once the composition of the photograph is in place, then the shutter is pushed to solidify your choice. But, there are times when cropping and resizing is necessary to get rid of stuff, without having an AI program take over and put their .02 cents worth of changes to your photo. So, the photos are on your computer and you can call them up for their spot on the modification table. Just as hot rod folks modify motors and such, each photograph has their own signature from your eye. Now, it can be adjusted when you have more time to scrutinize why that old lady is standing behind the cool Model A Coupe with some nice flames on it. Yes, we all wait for the right time to push the button to take the photo. But, as things happen, now you can alter or change the composition of the photo. That is the fun part. Jnaki Being an old photographer has its perks, but everyone has to start somewhere. Get the photos and look at how you took them and then filter out the blobs that somehow popped up in your photo. The bad tree growing out of the top of a hot rod, no matter how well built it was or how cool the car looks, the tree just does not belong. That is a start. YRMV Then once that happens, you are getting used to the ins and outs of the modification program, similar to knowing how to put push rods in place and adjusting them. etc. Before all of this digital camera ins and outs came to being easier to adjust, it was take several photos above the perfect setting to see if that adjustment makes the photo stand out better than the one chosen. Yes, we used up a lot of film, but it was worth it when 4 photographs of the same thing shows a minor error in each, except for "the one." Now that the HAMB error has been corrected, if you followed directions, you have learned a simple trick on anyone’s laptop or desktop computer. If it happens again, no need to complain to the Headmaster, but do the changes on your own to finish the post. You have created your own Band Aid.
I think that the biggest task right now is to learn the computer lingo! Right now, I am absorbing all of the information that everyone has provided and am grateful for, but Ctrl + C right click, backspace, left turn sometimes turns into F this. I'll get there eventually, thank you all.
Lingo is very specific and at the same time abbreviated. One of those things. Just like your reference to lift and duration. Everyone here knows you are describing a camshaft/valvetrain, but others would not.
Not always an abbreviation....Control "C" is for copy, easy peasy. but control "V" is just because V is beside C on the keyboard.
