Will be visiting Vancouver Washington from June 25th to July 2nd. Was searching for any local cruises that are going on. I know that PIR will have drag racing saturday night, which I plan to attend, as well as Wednesdays Beach Cruise/Drags. Are there any other cruises that week? I thought there was a Pizza Baron Cruise in Portland that sunday the 27th but cant find details.. Any info would be appreciated. Also plan on hitting Dons Classic Chevy, All American, mabey Memory Lane Auto Sales.
Definitely Billetproof NW. Easy drive up I-5 a little over an hour. More fun than you can shake a stick at, especially if you can stay for the Saturday evening cruise and other activities. Pizza Baron Cruise In is 10am-2pm the 27th at 122nd and Division in Portland. Stutz Memory Show and Shine in Molalla the same day. Pietro's Pizza Cruise In in Milwaukie (near Portland) the same day. Beaches on Wednesdays. http://beaches.simplehelix.com/crusin If you happen to head out east of Portland on the Columbia River Gorge, as a lot of tourists do, the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (W.A.A.A.M.) in Hood River is worth the trip. So far I haven't found anything else in the area for that weekend. Gotta be something going on around Vancouver, but nobody's gotten to me on it yet.
Yeah, go up to Chehalis for Billetproof. There isn't anything around town that will top that. Beaches is pretty cool too.
Thanks for the help guys, I did find the link to BilletProof.com and checked that site out. Weather Permitting I will probably go both days. I am staying at the Vancouver Mall so not that far to drive for me. Heck I just came back from a marathon Pittsburgh to Rogers City Michigan to pick up and engine. Went up Friday night, cam back Saturday. 1100 miles I have some experience in the area, have visited off and on for the past 7 years or so. Just havent been out in two years. All American is on the list They currently have a 55 Chevy Wagon that looks like a saver, like I need another project..
